Over 50 Students And Staff Of Accra Girls’ SHS Test Positive For Covid-19
The Ghana Health Service (GHS) and the Ghana Education Service (GES) have confirmed that 55 persons have tested positive for the dreaded coronavirus in Accra Girls’ Senior High School.
According to the GHS and GES, the 55 comprise both students and staff and they tested positive out of a total of 314 persons who were tested after the school reported some cases earlier.
In a a joint press statement by the GES and GHS, it was disclosed that all confirmed cases have been isolated and put on treatment while contact tracing has began to identify probable cases.
