Toyin Lawani, a Nigerian fashion icon and celebrity has shared the painful ordeal she went through in battling fibroid and her decision to remove her womb.
The socialite wrote a lengthy note to her fans on Instagram narrating how she discovered she has fibroid at 23 while she was carrying her first child.

She added that she bled 9 months continues while she was still pregnant and had to deal with excruciating pain.
Toyin Lawani said she had booked many appointments to remove her womb but felt cold feet at the eleventh hour.

She however disclosed that she has gathered courage to undergo the surgery and will share to her fans when it is done successfully.
