Donald Trump’s Younger Brother, Robert Dies At 71
The younger brother of American president, Donald Trump has passed away at age 71, in a New York hospital last night.
The death of Robert Trump, the last surviving brother of the president was confirmed by Donald Trump in a statement released by the White House.
“It is with heavy heart I share that my wonderful brother, Robert, peacefully passed away tonight. He was not just my brother, he was my best friend. He will be greatly missed, but we will meet again. His memory will live on in my heart forever. Robert, I love you. Rest in peace”.
The president visited his late brother in hospital last Friday after his government revealed Robert had become gravely sick. Officials did not immediately release a cause of death.
The youngest of five children born to Fredrick and Mary Anne Trump, Robert Trump lived a quiet life in sharp contrast to his senior brother who was a national news item for several decades before his ascension to the presidency in 2017.
