South African Actress, Thandeka Mdeliswa Shot Dead At Her Family Home

Popular South African actress, Thandeka Mdeliswa has been confirmed dead after she was shot at her family home in Evander, Mpumalanga in South Africa.

Reports indicate that the actress got involved in an argument with some two men who had a confusion with her older brother. This is said to have happened on Thursday, September 3.

Tempers flared up and one of the men reached out for the firearm of his friend and shot at the actress. The two men are reported to have fled the scene immediately.

The actress was airlifted to the Steve Biko Academic Hospital in Pretoria where she was pronounced dead on Saturday, September 5 in the morning.

A police statement reads:

“We are currently investigating this matter and we have not arrested anyone. Yesterday, we brought the owner of the gun to book and we were advised to get the person who pulled the trigger.

“We are busy with our investigation. Anyone with information that can assist should approach the Evander Police Station or any police station around.”
