Lagos State Governor, Sanwo-Olu To Respond To The Nigerian Army’s Statement Soon
The Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is said to be gearing up to respond to claims by the Nigerian army that he deployed them to Lekki toll gate on October 20 to maintain order.
You would recall that on the said date, harmless protesters massed up at the Lekki toll gate were shot at and killed for no wrong done.

The military were blamed for carrying out the heinous crime. In a bid to clear their name, a statement was released yesterday where they noted that they acted on the instructions of the local government on that unfortunate night.
A source that spoke to The Will Nigeria on anonymity stated that, the governor is set to respond to the statement from the army. The source added that the matter is a delicate one and should be handled very carefully.
“the State Governor will respond to this at the appropriate time, probably, later today.
“We have to be very careful in making a careless statement. It is a very sensitive issue. That’s all I can say for now”, the source said.
