Singer, Chike Apologizes To Igbos After He was Called Out For Disrespecting Them
Nigerian singer, Chike has eaten back his words after he was called out on social media for disrespecting Igbos.
The singer in a tweet said that Igbos should stop their primitive way of living by always traveling to the east to celebrate Christmas.

He advised that those days when they used to embark on such journey are in the past and it’s high time they evolved from that.
He has since deleted the tweet after he was called out by tweeps.

In a follow-up tweet, he apologized for his earlier tweet and seek forgiveness from the Igbo community, both home and abroad.
He tweeted: “I believe my now-deleted tweet was misunderstood as it was an emotional one . This morning, 2 friends died on their road trip back from the village . I think the roads are too risky for everyone to be headed home & back. If you have been hurt, I sincerely apologize.”
