Wizkid since, 2017 has teased his fans of an upcoming album after he released ‘Sounds From The Other Side’. His fans across the globe have been on the neck of the Joro hit maker begging for another taste of good music.

He released a mixtape titled ‘Soundman Vol1’ and as if that was not enough, he hinted of his ‘Made In Lagos’ album, calling it his best project yet.

Earlier today, the prolific Afropop artist dropped on his Instagram page the artwork for his ‘Made In Lagos’ album.

His fans proceeded to ask when he is going to stop teasing them and drop the album. A question yet to be answered by Wizkid.

Certified ‘Young Sugar Daddy’ Kidi has unveiled a 5-track extended Play (EP) for his fans to jam to this coming month.

Born Dennis Nana Dwamena, the award winning high-life and afrobeats singer-songwriter, pulled a surprise on his fans after giving hint of a project soon to drop.

His fans thought it was a song but woke up to the announcement of a five track EP on his social media page.

Kidi hinted in another tweet that this EP will not only entertain his fans but give Ghanaians the opportunity to witness his ‘freaky’ side.

Nigerian singer Niniola Atapa, famed as Niniola, has received a certificate of recognition from the Recording Academy for her contribution on ‘The Lion King Album’ by American singer Beyonce.

Niniola composed and performed the song ‘Find Your Way Back’ on the album, which contained samples of her hit track ‘Maradona’.

She shared a copy of the certificate on her Instagram page to make the announcement, thanked God and everyone who supported her talent in the process.

“And The GRAMMY Certificate @recordingacademy just came in the mail today….Thank You God and Thank you to everyone that has been supporting. Love U All ❤❤❤”, she wrote.

Niniola is one of the African artists Beyonce featured on her Lion King album which served as soundtrack for the remake of the 1994 film, The Lion King.

Last Friday, Ghanaian musician and recent BET Hip-hop award winner, Sarkodie released his ‘Black Love’ album which features many artistes including Ghanaian dancehall act Stonebwoy, Nigerian musician Teckno and surprisingly Sista Afia.

Sista Afia’s music career started in the Ghanaian music scene fraught with many controversies.

However, over the years Sista Afia has grounded herself in the music industry. But because of the perception people have about her, it looks like she is often judged differently beyond her musical talent.

So speaking on his ‘Black Love’ album, Sarkodie addressed why he chose to have Sista Afia on the album.

He said this in an interview with popular Ghanaian blogger Kobby Kyei. Sarkodie said that: “Like Sista Afia, people were shocked [to see her on the album].”

But this is somebody that I listened to her music and the vocal quality that she has. I think people don’t look at that; they’re looking at her as a person”

I don’t know, I think maybe they have a different perception but the performance of the voice, trust me Sista Afia is really on fire.”

“So I was a fan and I reached out to her. And I realized that her voice, if she stretches the voice will be a big and that’s what we did on the album- ‘Broken heart’ [the song] and she killed it.”

A grateful Sista Afia after seeing the video shared on with appreciation to Sarkodie. She said: “Thank you for seeing what most people didn’t see in me @sarkodie”
