She beat rival Mercy Eke to win that award and two others at the 7th edition of the Scream All Youth Awards held virtually yesterday August 16.

Tacha was nominated in the Social media influencer, Fashion Brand of the year and Brand influencer of the year category and she bagged it all.

Making the green and white flag proud was Burna Boy nominated in the Best International Act Award category along with Innoss’B, Sho Madjozi, Dave, Stormzy, Ninho, and S.Pri Noir.

This is the second time Burna Boy has been nominated for the Best international act category. He won in 2019 and his mother accepted the award on his behalf with a Black Inspired Speech.

Also, MAVINS Records darling boy, Rema found his way into the Viewer’s Choice: Best New International Act competing with Sha Sha, Celeste, Young T & Bugsey, Hatik and Stacy.

The awards will be aired live on June 28 on ViacomCBS networks and on CBS for the first time. For the sake of the pandemic, BET will be a virtual concert which will be aired on BET and BET HER.
