After Sarkodie and Samini endorsed the president of the republic, Nana Akufo-Addo, industry players have been sharing their take on the matter.

Ghanaian rapper, Ayigbe Edem has also reacted to the viral songs by his colleagues, Sarkodie and Samini that endorses the president of Ghana, Nana Addo for a second term.

Sarkodie released a track called Happy Day where he touted the credentials of the leader of the ruling party likewise his counterpart, Samini with his song Kpoyaka.

The two songs have caught national attention drawing commentary from industry players and politicians alike.

Ayigbe Edem has also given his take on the phenomenon. He believes that musicians endorsing politicians will further widen the unity gap among the musicians in the industry.

He took to twitter and wrote: “Politics go widen the Unity Gap in entertainment business…But who cares..Secure the bag n eff the division it brings”

A video of Ghanaian hip-life artiste, Ayigbe Edem mimicking the modus operandi of ‘fake pastors’ in collecting monies from their congregation has gone viral on social media.

Posing himself as pastor, Edem mocked some of those Christians who, although they have GH¢ 10 would give God only GH¢ 5.

In Christianity, offering- as it is often called, is one of the many rituals performed during typical gatherings of people of Christian faith.

Usually, offerings by the congregation are given in the form of money. And pastors or leaders often encourage their members to give according to the measure they have received.

But many people have said that some of pastors use ways and means to milk their members through the offerings that are supposed to be given willingly.

This issue has become a very contentious topic of discussion and many people have varying opinions on it.

Some say if giving offering is out the desire of an individual, should church people be made to give offerings by ‘encouraging’ them to do so? While others simply opine that there is nothing wrong with prompting people to give to the church through their offerings.

In the video, Ayigbe Edem is seen mimicking pastors, and post a caption on it which reads: ‘Fake pastors pon the job’. Which literally means fake pastors on the job.

Edem is said in the video that: “Brothers and sisters, put whatever money from your heart in the collection bowl. He then made a funny statement regarding people who wouldn’t give all the monies they have.

He further stated that: Some of you are having Ghc 10 but you are bringing Ghc 5- God has seen you. Do it for God, give it to God.”
