Nigerian comedian Bovi has proven that he is not part of the small group of celebs who celebrated victory with COZA pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo after court ruled in favour of him yesterday.

Yesterday November 14, an Abuja federal High Court acquitted Biodun of the rape charges celebrity photographer Busola Dakolo filed against him.

Several celebs have taken sides as expected, with some rooting for Busola’s innocence and others for the pastor’s.

One of such is Bovi who posted on Twitter a direct shade aimed at Biodun Fatoyinbo’s way. Bovi cited American stars who had their careers ruined by such rape cases including RnB singer R Kelly and actor Bill Cosby.

Not Ready To Concede Defeat, Busola Dakolo States That She Will Appeal Court Ruling In Favour Of Biodun Fatoyinbo

Busola Dakolo has announced that she will be appealing the judgement of Justice O. A. Musa of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court in Abuja, who ruled in favour of COZA pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo.

Earlier today Biodun Fatoyinbo was acquitted of a rape case Busola filed against him a few months ago, and the case thrown out of court.

Reacting to the court ruling through her lawyer, Pelumi Olajengbesi, Busola, in a statement, said she will appeal the court verdict.

The statement read, “We have received several calls after the ruling of the high court of the Federal Capital Territory sitting at Bwari this morning seeking our view on the decision of the court, hence, this statement.

The court ruled that the matter is statute-barred because the events that crystallised to the cause of action took place 16 years ago and that the claimant, Mrs. Busola Dakolo has only six years within which to seek redress in court in line with the statute of limitation.

We are mindful of the decision as delivered by the court, presided over by the Hon. Justice A.O Musa. We are equally observant of the fact that the Court omitted to address the cause of action, the subject matter of the suit in determining whether it has jurisdiction to entertain the said matter.“

Polemic Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has rejoiced at the news of court ruling in favour of COZA pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo.

Earlier today it was announced that the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Court 12 sitting at Bwari dismissed the case filed by Busola Dakolo against Biodun Fatoyinbo and demanded an additional N10 million as damages.

This was as a result of Busola Dakolo claiming that the COZA pastor had defiled her sometime back. Several celebrities stood by Busola whiles others too rooted for Biodun, including Tonto Dikeh and Wale Jana.

Upon hearing news of the court ruling, Wale Jana took to his IG to thank the Lord for acquitting Biodun. He shared a photo of the pastor with the words, “ Congrats Baba @biodunfatoyinbo we said it from the beginning. Case has been dismissed and damages of one million naira is to be paid to @biodunfatoyinbo #ThankYouJesus 🕺🕺🕺🕺 “

Busola Dakolo Loses Civil Case Against Biodun Fatoyinbo, N1Million Demanded From Her As Damages

Some few months ago, Busola Dakolo, wife of gospel singer Timi Dakolo, accused COZA pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of raping her many years past.

Busola granted an interview in which she explained how the said event took place. This interview broke the internet, with some celebrities praising her for her boldness and others rooting for the pastor.

Busola further sued Biodun and asked him to pay her N10,000 in damages.

Well, new developments indicate that the rape case against Pastor Biodun has been dismissed by a ruling court, and not only was it dismissed, Timi Dakolo’s wife has now been ordered to pay N1million in damages and as payment for defaming the COZA founder.

The High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Court 12 sitting at Bwari dismissed the case filed by Busola Dakolo’s lawyers and acquitted Biodun.

COZA Pastor Fatoyinbo Asks Court To Dismiss Busola Dakolo’s Suit, He Demands N50m As Damages

Senior Pastor of COZA, Biodun Fatoyinbo was hit with court summons some weeks back, filed by the lawyers of Busola Dakolo, who claimed that the pastor had raped her.

Well, Fatoyinbo has reportedly asked the Federal High Court in Abuja to dismiss the suit filed by Busola Dakolo.

In an application filed through his lawyers, the clergyman demanded N50 million as damages.
