Controversial lifestyle blogger, Blessing Okoro has made a very controversial statement on social media regarding women in relationships.

The controversial blogger wrote that, any lady who still pays her own bills even when she’s in a relationship is still single.

According to her, a lady is not supposed to bear any bill especially when she’s in an active relationship.

There has always been that single debate as to who should settle the bills between a man and a woman who are either married or dating.

In this part of the world, the man automatically assumes the responsibility of shouldering the bill even when he’s unemployed and his partner gainfully employed.

Blessing Okoro’s assertion has gone to confirm that long held notion.

She wrote on her Instagram account: “Any lady that pays her own bills is single.
I said what i said.
Don’t stress me pls .

After Erica Nlewedim, simply referred to as Erica, was disqualified from the ongoing Big Brother Naija reality show, she has been receiving a lot of financial support from people across Nigeria.

Her fans, Ellites, set up a GoFundMe page and was able to raise over N4 million within the first five hours to support the disqualified contestant.

Many people seem to have a problem with people who are supporting Erica financially. They argue that, those people are rewarding bad behavior which will embolden others to behave wrongly knowing that they will also get support.

Controversial lifestyle and relationship blogger, Blessing Okoro has also taken to her Instagram page to slam those who are supporting the disqualified contestant, Erica.

The blogger shared a screenshot of a tweet which states; “Before you know it now, disqualification will be a faster way of cashing out than even winning BBNaija, because the way we dey glorify bad behaviour is getting out of hand.”

Blessing Okoro shared the screenshot and added the caption: “Like I don’t understand this people called Nigerians. Bunch of confusing.”

According to the relationship blogger, men who pay for sex, talk to women in a demeaning way and he was once encountered with a man who she and her friends hung out with, asked her to give him a bl*w job at a hotel in a demeaning manner. She said that experience alone was enough humiliation to make her quit the aid act.

Loudmouth relationship blogger, Blessing Okoro known for her controversial twist is in the news again, and this time, she is on men who cannot provide for their wives.

Okoro highlighted that, women have turn to become desperate for marriage that they take on this responsibility which is not meant for them.

She holds the view that, women goes through a lot as labour in its self is a curse on women shoulder and therefore women shouldn’t take onto them what is again meant for the men on themselves.

Blessing Okoro said that:

“Women stop providing for men. Stop being so desperate for marriage by giving them money. You have made them constantly lazy and they have become boys. Allow a man take up his responsibility to provide. That is his job. A man sole responsibility to provide. A man is built to provide. Take away provision from a man, he is a boy. If a man cannot provide, he is a boy. And a boy only bothers about who he will sleep with since he is jobless. Even if he is not financially buoyant, let there be an attempt from him before you assist,” 

She captioned the video saying:

“Desperate women who want marriage turned our men to 4ck boys. God gave men and women punishment. Men suffer before you provide. Women suffer to born.Women leave men to carry their own punishment in peace”
