Nigerian afrobeats artiste Damini Ogulu known in showbiz as Burna Boy has been the the artiste with the most streams on digital music distribution platform, Boomplay.

The artiste who has had a stellar career for the past four years has garnered a lot of support for his craft from all around the world.

The Grammy nominated singer has over 77 million streams on Boomplay pegging him at the number one spot ahead of all other artistes worldwide.

Controversial Gospel artist Willy Paul is celebrating a big win this festive season. He has been ranked number one as the most streamed Kenyan artist on Boomplay in 2019.

He celebrated his win publicly; posting the list with his name at the top on his Instagram page. ”And the number one artist in Kenya @boomplaymusicke is ME as you can see, numbers never lie.”

“People will fight you and will even try to kill you but at the end of the day if you have God and hard work no fool can stop you,” he wrote on Instagram.

Nyashinski who is a fan favorite made number two on the boomplay list and boy band Sauti Sol followed at number three. Other artists who were on the top ten list include Masauti, Nadia Mukami, King Kaka, Kaligraph Jones, Evelyn Wanjiru, Arrow Bwoy and Ethic Entertainment.
