Nigerian rapper, CDQ, has taken to social media to call out Seyi Tinubu for allegedly disrespecting him during a function.

The rapper in a lengthy letter to Seyi Tinubu on twitter stated among other things that, he wasn’t born with a silver spoon like Seyi but he will never take disrespect from him or anyone.

He also warned that, he’s a fighter and a strong hustler who has made it big out of the slums. Read below his letter to Seyi below.

“Seyi Tinubu I’m bouta compose an article for you about what you did to me last night @ David’s house. I might not be born with silver spoon like you but bruh I’m a fighter and a strong hustler that germinated from the slum to where I am today.

“I won’t take disrespect from anyone. If u have been doing this to people around u before this will be d last time… cos I no be artist wey Dey pursue politician for money… anything I do with people I do it for love. I hustle hard for everything I am today.

“I’ve always been a free spirit, good vibe n neutral person from day° irrespective of where I am or who I’m with… so I’m the least person u should mess up it… cos things don’t get to me easily. But when it hit it hits hard ‘a’ so I’m never going to let this slide Seyi.” He added.

Nigerian rapper, CDQ has slammed American pop star, Beyonce for not appreciating Wizkid for their collaboration on her Lion King album.

The Nigerian singer was featured on the track, “Brown Skin Girl” off the Lion King album.

The video which was shot and released some few months ago put less premium on Wizkid who sang most part of the song.

He was featured scarcely in the video and had his name placed at the end of the list of artistes who played a role in the track.

It’s this attitude that is pissing the rapper off. CDQ did not understand why Wizkid’s name will appear last even after names who didn’t sing in the track.

CDQ took to his Twitter handle to register his displeasure at the attitude of the American songstress.

He tweeted: “Omoo but Americans Dey take piss sometimes o. how d fuck my bwoi Wiz go sing full song with u Beyonce and u com show am briefly for d video still put some names b4 him com carry him name put for back back like say na ajasa e just do for d song… ogun wan kill una papa ni”

Nigerian hip hop rapper, CDQ has stated emphatically that the impact of the late hip hop rapper, Dagrin on the Nigerian hip hop community can’t be overemphasized.

He noted that, hip hop in Nigeria Died the day the country lost Dagrin to the cold fingers of death.

He revealed this as a guest speaker on the first episode of Hennessy’s Hip Hop Docu-series, “The Conversation”.

Other hip hop artistes who spoke about the evolution of hip hop in Nigeria include Vector, M.I Abaga and DJ Jimmy Jatt.

In his words, Dagrin’s demise had a huge toll on the development of the hip hop genre of music. He revealed that, hip hop music suffered since the day he died till today, adding that, Dagrin was the only hip hop artiste who stayed true to the genre.

Dagrin died on April 22, 2010 after involving in an accident. Despite dying at a very young age of 22, Dagrin’s style of rap resonated well with most music lovers and that has earned him a spot in the all time best rappers list in Nigeria.
