Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has had some kind words and praise for ace actor and senior industry colleague, Chiwetalu Agu.

Yul took to social media to celebrate the immense contribution of the veteran, Agu, in the Nigerian movie industry.

Yul Edochie wrote in a post;

“Today I want to celebrate this Nollywood legend. Today is not his birthday but I choose to recognise his immense contribution to Nollywood. The Legend Uncle Chiwetalu Agu (Ichie Ogwu) @chiwetaluagu. The King of Punchlines. One of the greatest actors Nollywood has ever produced. Today many of us copy his Punchline style without giving him much credit for it. Sir I recognise you and appreciate you. You helped shape my career. Thank you. May you live longer in good health for us and for your family. AMEN!”

The legendary Chiwetalu Agu has been an outstanding actor and comedian in the movie industry for decades. Either as a kinsman, father, husband or security man, the actor always brings life to a script and plays his role as pro and this has made him stand out as one of the best ever Nollywood actors with many attributing their successes in the industry to him.

Despite being such a controversial character in his movies, the actor tends to shy away from trouble in real life and is very private about his affairs, keeping his wife and five children well away from the limelight.
