Ghana has recorded 290 new cases surging the total number to 14,007 of which 10,473 have recovered as announced by the Ghana Health Service (GHS).

Currently, there are 3,449 active cases and 85 deaths in the country. The Greater Accra Region remains the only country with the highest number of COVID-19 cases in the country next is Ashanti and Western regions.

Ghana Health Service has confirmed that Ghana’s cases of Coronavirus have jumped to 9,168 after the Country recorded 283 new cases.

As the report indicates that four more deaths have unfortunately been recorded taking the tally of fatalities to 42, the number of recovery cases also receives a significant improvement,

The number of persons who are said to have fully recovered has jumped from 3,189 to 3,457 representing an increase of 268 new recoveries.

As of today, Ghana’s active cases stand at 5,669 active cases, with Ahafo Region still the only region that is yet to record a case.

Meanwhile, restrictions have been eased by the government with the communication strategy changing from Stay Home to Stay Alert.
