Just like other fashion brands like Off-white and Burberry, Louis Vuitton has taken steps to design a face shield that keeps you styled and protected.

The shield costs $961 ( approximately 370,503 Naira) and will be available for sales to the public on October 30.

The “eye-catching” LV Shield transitions from clear to dark in sunlight, protecting wearers from the sun. It also features golden studs engraved with Louis Vuitton’s brand name and an elastic, monogrammed headband.

Some reactions from Nigerians showed how riduculous it’ll be for an individual to blow such amount on a face shield but then again, that is what fashion is all about.

Iconic English player David Beckham and his wife, Victoria Beckham revealed that they tested positive for coronavirus after partying in Los Angeles earlier this year.

The footballer and wife, was reported to have feared they were ‘super-spreaders’ after their employees and relatives also caught the virus, The Sun newspaper reported.

‘It was an absolute nightmare scenario,’ explaining how David was in LA schmoozing on behalf of his club Inter Miami, when Victoria and their children flew over to support him.’ a source told The Sun.

‘They attended a couple of swanky networking events as David had promotional duties, and were shaking hands and kissing fans and various club dignitaries,’ claimed the insider. “They then flew back to London, and were whisked straight to their Cotswolds mansion.”

When they returned back to Maimi, the source went on, “David started to feel ill and then Victoria developed a sore throat and high temperature.

“At the same time, several of their team including drivers, bodyguards, and assistants fell ill — a couple of them very badly so.

“Victoria really panicked and made the whole family quarantine rigidly for more than two weeks. “She was utterly petrified they might be super-spreaders, and did all she could to minimise all future risk.

“Not only was she poorly in bed, she was also completely panicked. It was a rough few weeks.”

After making full recoveries, the couple checked in regularly with their team and even sent “care packages” to at least two staff members who were particularly badly affected.

48-year-old Hollywood actor Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, his wife and their two daughters have all tested positive for Coronavirus, he confirms in a video.

The Rock announced that the family have been sick with the virus for the past few weeks with he and his wife, Lauren Hashian being particularly unwell.

The Jumaniji actor said he is feeling much better than the previous weeks;

“I wanted to give you guys a little helpful update on things that have been going on on my end for the past two-and-a-half to three weeks now. 
“So the update is this: my wife Lauren as well as my two baby girls and myself, we have all tested positive for COVID-19.

“I could tell you that this has been one of the most challenging and difficult things we have ever had to endure as a family, and for me, too, personally as well. And I’ve gone through some doozies in the past.”

“Testing positive for COVID-19 is much different than overcoming nasty injuries, or being evicted, or even being broke, which I have been more than a few times.”

Johnson said that he and his family contracted the  virus from family friends, who he said are “devastated” that they unwittingly spread the virus.

Fastest man on earth and eight time Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt has tested positive for Coronavirus after celebrating his 34th birthday over the weekend.

Bolt said he took the test on Saturday, the day after he celebrated his birthday at a bash where partygoers danced to the hit “Lockdown” by Jamaican reggae singer Koffee.

Usain hosted a mask-free birthday party on his birthday. The world-record sprinter posted a self recorded video on social media after the party saying he has quarantined himself and waiting for his results.

Jamaica’s health ministry confirmed later on Monday that Usain had tested positive for the virus. He however said he has not seen any symptoms of Covid-19 yet.

Former captain of Barcelona Football Club, Xavi Hernández has become the latest high profile personality to have contracted the coronavirus disease.

The 40 year-old World Cup winning Spaniard announced his status on his Instagram page earlier today. This means he would not be available for his manager’s role during his side, Al Sadd’s next game in the Qatari League.

He wrote on his page:

“A few days ago, following the QSL (Qatar Stars League) protocol, I tested positive in the last COVID19 test. Fortunately, I’m feeling ok, but I will be isolated until I am given the all-clear. When the health services allow it, I will be very eager to return to my daily routine and to work.”
