One person is feared dead after some cult groups in Nigeria clashed on Tuesday night, October 13 in the Ebute Metta area in Lagos State.

The clash which began at about 8pm left many properties destroyed when members of the cult took to the street to destroy cars parked in the area.

Spokesperson of the state police command, Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the incident and said an official statement will be released today concerning the incident.

US Based journalist, Azuka Jebose Molokwu has been slapped with a 2 billion Naira defamation suit by Nigerian business mogul Ned Nwoko.

Reports have it that Ned Nwoko sued the journalist with a 2 billion naira lawsuit for claiming Ned Nwoko is a cultist because of his love to marry virgins.

The suit obtained from Effurun High Court, Delta State on behalf of Nwoko by his counsel, Ikhide Ehighelua and Co dated July 13, 2020, reveals that the defendant made lots of defamatory comments about Ned which was aimed to dent his hard-earned reputation.

Azuka Jebose Molokwu few days ago alleged that Ned Nowko is a cultist after the billionaire revealed he married all his six wives as virgins.

A 19-year-old Nigerian lady has recalled how she was forcefully initiated into a cult, known as Marine Girls, by sleeping with 10 men as ritual.

Blessing David confessed to police at the Headquarters of the Edo State Police Command in Benin City that she was initiated in 2019.

She said sleeping with 10 men was part of the ritual. Blessing was arrested alongside 15 armed robbery suspects, six cultists, three kidnappers and four murder suspects.

She said, “My name is Blessing David. I was initiated into the cult last year. I slept with 10 men as part of the initiation process.”
