Popular gospel music sensation, Sonnie Badu was recently in the news after he confirmed of helping the embattled Ghanaian evangelist, Emmanuel Apraku who was popularly known as ‘Apraku My Daughter’.

In the video that went viral, the late Evangelist Emmanuel Kwaku Apraku was being mocked by a lady for being drunk and looking shameless as she shared how the popular cleric in his prime time duped her after taking her money and refusing to pray for her as said.

Sonnie Badu upon seeing the viral video, therefore, intended to help the man of God as he promised with a post on his Instagram page.

Unfortunately, the formerly celebrated Evangelist meets his untimely death and Sonnie Badu expresses his condolences in a way that torched the heart of many.

News of the sudden demise of evangelist Apraku My Daughter has sadden UK-based Ghanaian gospel artist, Dr Sonnie Badu, and he has reacted.

Sonnie Badu expressed his shock upon hearing the news and revealed he had been crying although he does not know the man of God personally.

The Baba singer took to his Instagram page to write the below;

“We have just been informed that the pastor passed on to be with the Lord this morning. It looks like it was my urge to helping him video that alerted people to go check on him and when they did he had passed on. No one had heard from him for 3 days.

“Sir, may you Rest In Peace. I heard you were a giver and loved people. Tears are in my eyes while watching KOFITV now … On this note, I want us to pray for pastors and ministers who have sacrificed everything for the gospel and their families. Some are going through intense depression others have attempted suicide, yet they have to stand and pray, minister, take care of souls … please don’t forget to say a little prayer. #DrBadu.”

Sad news reaching us states that Ghanaian Evangelist, Emmanuel Kwaku Apraku, who was went viral after he was captured in a video as he was seen drunk on the streets is dead.

The Sad news which reportedly happened today was confirmed via a telephone interview by a colleague pastor, Prophet Kumchacha on a local radio station.

According to Prophet Kumchacha, Apaku My Daughter is truly dead and he was standing by the corpse as at the time he was granting this interview.

The cause of death is yet to be determined.
