Ghana lost her longest serving president, H.E Jerry John Rawlings today at the Korlebu Teaching Hospital after a short illness.

His death comes as a shock to many as there was no knowledge of his sickness before his demise.

The news of the death of the former Ghanaian president, Jerry John Rawlings who is considered as the father of the fourth republic hit he world unexpectedly.

Many received the news with shock as they didn’t know about his ailment untill the news of his demise broke out.

Jerry John Rawlings died today, Thursday, November 12 after a short illness. He died at age 73 and survived by a wife and four children.
