Music lovers and fans of Ghanaian singer/songwriter Akwaboah have been taken aback as the musician has disclosed a sad incident which has occurred.

Akwaboah took to his twitter page to share how he lost all songs on his laptop even data to his next album after his hard disk crashed.

He proceeded to ask tweeps if there was any chance for him to retrieve the data he has lost.

Some musicians like Sarkodie, Joey B and other twitter users gave the devastated musician options on how to get his data back.

Joey B directed Akwaboah to music producer Kuvie while Sarkodie on the other hand shed tears to sympathize with him.

Popular Ghanaian hip-hop recording artist, Joey B has said that he used to think celebrated BET Hip-hop award winner, Sarkodie couldn’t speak English.

And why is that? Joey B said he thought so because of the genre of music Sarkodie used to sing; kasahare or Twi-pop. Kasahare, translated from the Akan language- Twi, simply means rap, that is ‘to speak in a fast pace’.

Twi-pop follows a similar rhythm and style as hip-hop except that it is mainly sang in Twi. Because of this Joey B claims he genuinely thought Sarkodie couldn’t read English or understand it.

He made this revelation in a tweet which has so far got about 1,3000 likes at press time.
