American model and media personality, Kendall Jenner has given a piece of advice to those suffering some form of mental shortcomings at a point in their lives.

Speaking from experience, the 25-year old revealed that she defeated her mental health problems by being gratitude and thankful.

Taking to her twitter handle, she sent the piece of advice to her over 30m followers.

She tweeted: “In this past year I’ve found it hard to keep my spirits up at times and have struggled a bit with my mental. What gets me through it is gratitude! Be thankful today for what you have! Sending love.”

The rate of mental health problems in America keep rising everyday and it is getting worrying. Most people suffer depression which then degenerate into something bad.

Her advice will go a long way to help some people to be able to defeat their mental downtime.
