Man Reunites With Family 32 Years After He Was Kidnapped – Watch Video

Emotions were high when a 32-Year-Old Chinese man, who was kidnapped whne he was a toddler, reunited with his real parents on Monday, May 18.

Mao Yin, was abducted from a hotel at the age of 2 and sold to a childless couple but thanks to facial recognition technology, he finally met his real parents.

He was kidnapped on his way from nursery school after his father shortly left to get him some water in a hotel in Xi’an, a city in China.

According to Chinese state-broadcaster CCTV, the family dedicated their lives in finding their missing child, quitting their jobs to search for him.

His mother Li Jingzhi posted over 100,000 flyers across the country and went on many television shows asking for help to find her son.

In late April, Xi’an police had a tip off about a man who bought a baby in the 1980s. The report indicated that a facial recognition technology to analyze an old photo of Mao and came up with how he’ll look after three decades.

A DNA test was conducted and Mao was identified as the missing child. They were brought together on Monday at a news conference held by the Xi’an police.

According to flying rumours, Nigerian singer Duncan Mighty has been kidnapped by gun-wielding men in Owerri.

The alarm was raised by celebrity barman Cubana Chiefpriest who hinted that Duncan Mighty was whisked away by kidnappers after gunshots were heard in the Owerri area.

This development comes weeks after the singer sent an open letter to the former governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, asking to return an amount of money which the governor had given him. Duncan Mighty said his life was at risk after recording a campaign song for Okorocha.

Kidnapped Ondo State University Professor Found Dead

Professor Gideon Okedayo, a senior lecturer at the Ondo State University of Science and Technology, who was abducted by gunmen, has been found dead.

According to Sahara Reporters, Okedayo was kidnapped on Igara road in Akoko Edo area of Edo State while travelling to his hometown on Thursday.

A source at the university said that the dead body of the lecturer was found inside a bush. The source claims that they were informed by the police, and that they are convinced that he was killed by his abductors.

18 Year-Old Girl Kidnapped For 4 Months Reveals She Was Sexually Abused

The 18 year-old girl who was kidnapped by two men in Aflao, who posed as pastors in her parents’ home has recounted her ordeal in an interview on JoyNews TV. She states that they baited her with malt, which was spiked, and she woke up later, bleeding in a room.

Precious, an incognito name, revealed that her kidnappers beat her with sticks everyday when they wanted to have sex with her, which they did subsequently for the four months in which she was held captive.

The teenager also said that they threatened her with nude pictures they had taken of her; this abuse continued till she got pregnant. Upon discovering her pregnancy, the hoodlums gave her a bitter concoction which she took, resulting in a miscarriage.

The men transported her between Nigeria, Togo, and Ghana, asking for ransoms from her parents to enable her release, until she was ultimately found by a search team organized by her father.

Precious, pleads with the government to make justice prevail.

Bandits Killed 3, kidnap 3 Students And Others On Kaduna-Abuja Expressway

Three final year Law students of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria have been kidnapped on Abuja-Kaduna expressway.
The armed bandits also killed three persons and kidnapped dozens of people during the operation yesterday.

Jibrin Adamu, a driver who escaped the attack said the gunmen blocked a spot around Olam farm around 5:30 PM according to instablog9ja.
They left the operation area after about 30 minutes when a team of the military chased them away.

It is unknown whether the kidnappers and the people they kidnapped have been found.
