Nollywood actor, Mike Ezuruonye has advised people to live within their means and stop trying to impress people they don’t even know.

According to him, before you buy something, you must be able to buy twice of the thing otherwise, it’s not meant for you.

His comment comes at a time when people are living fake lives in order to impress people who don’t even give a hoot about their existence.

The life portrayed by many especially our celebrities is nothing near reality. They mostly make things up to look like they’re really doing good in life when the reality doesn’t support what they show to the public.

Not long ago, Nigerian actor Mike Ezurunye was reported to be in the grips of Police in the United Kingdom for defrauding some sugar mummies.

The reports claimed the actor stole as much as £700,000 from these women in a love scam carefully planned by him (Mike Ezurunye).

Mike took to his Instagram handle to share a video of himself to debunk the rumors. He claimed he was at a location shooting a movie and not in police custody.

He warned older women to keep his name out of their mouths and quit dragging him into controversies.

“I’ve been quiet for too long about this nonsense. I’ve posted people who have been arrested. I have posted some of those who have impersonated me. I have tagged the EFCC, the police; they have been quite helpful and are still helpful. And some idiots will just wake up and write nonsense.”

I heard they’ve formed a club against me. Some old women who have been defrauded,” he said.

The actor went on to say, “Why are you going to give money to somebody you don’t know? What are you looking for? What are you indulging in? And the worst part is that some of you are older than my mother. What are you looking for in that actor, in that musician? And when you are defrauded, you now find the real account of the person. But while you were frolicking with the fake person, you never took your time to look for the real person’s account,”

Mike went live on Instagram to mock ‘someone’ who flaunts G-Wagon and rich living on social media but behind camera suffers to survive.

Although he did not mention names, the A-list actor disclosed that the said person claims he owns a G-Wagon and goes about social media with a fake personality.

He added that this person does not live in his/her own house but is squatting with a friend and is in need of relief items to survive although the person can afford a G-Wagon.

Mike surprised his Instagram followers after sharing a story on his health challenge he has been going through. According to the actor, his years of working behind and in front of cameras eventually took a toll on his eyes, as it was discovered that a growth was encroaching his pupils.

“Forgive being Reluctant but just had to share..Many don’t know what we go through in the course of our work (FILM MAKING)..Had a growth encroaching the pupil of both eyes cos of over exposure to HARSH movie Production LIGHTS over the Years…(Heard looking into your PHONE/COMPUTER for too long also puts one in Danger)..Advised to get Surgery done,I was Scared…After Surgery, for over 8 hrs ,i was without sight as my eyes were Demanded Tightly Closed,Tightly Shut by the Ophthalmologist Team of Doctors..Hmnnn..” he said.
