“My Staff Nearly Poisoned Me To Death” – MR Ibu Recounts (Video)

Iconic Nigerian actor Mr Ibu has opened up on how he nearly lost his life at the hands of his staff who poisoned him.

Mr Ibu shocked the host and guests in an interview with Nigezie Tv. He said photos of his enormous belly that went viral was as a result of the poison but he thank God he survived.

He said he does not drink alcohol and rarely eats late so there was no way the mentioned made his belly bloat.

Telling how he was poisoned, the comic actor said he was informed he has a show scheduled in Nnewi, Anambra State but it was a plot to kill him. He was poisoned and beating at the location, Mr Ibu said.

He said the evil staff and team left him for dead but his dancers came to his rescue. Mr. Ibi said he was in coma and did not wake up until he was home.

“Many did not believe i will survive this one”, he said and added that that was not the first time he has been poisoned but thank God he always survives. Watch more in the video below.

Nigerian movie icon, John Okafor aka Mr Ibu, paid a surprise visit to singer Davido at his mansion in Lagos and the fun moments was shared on Instagram.

Davido hosted Mr. Ibu in his Banana Island mansion just to spend some quality time having fun. Reports have it that One of Davido’s staff was celebrating his birthday as Mr. Ibu was invited.

The excited singer took to his Insta story to share photos and videos of him laughing to the jokes of the comic actor.

Cooking Is Purely A Woman’s Job – Mr. Ibu Declares

Nigerian comedian, John Okafor, known in the movie industry as Mr. Ibu has entered the feminist den with his latest interview with The Punch.

The veteran Nollywood actor, revealed that cooking is purely a woman’s job and that men are not supposed to cook when their wives are there.

Mr. Ibu added that men only enter the kitchen once in a while when they want to show their wives love and care.

Mr Ibu said; “Cooking is for the women and should be done by them, except on few occasions if you just feel the need to cook, which shows you have regard for your wife. Asides that, cooking is a woman’s duty.”

“When a man cooks, it is either because the wife is away from home and he’s alone. So, he has to cook for himself.”

He disclosed also that, he doesn’t know how to cook because his wife does everything. “I don’t know how to cook. I can only boil water.”

Mr. Ibu added that he’s scared to eat food with some particular flavours. “I’m scared of food that has certain types of flavours. I’m always out for work, so I eat out. But whenever I’m back home, I always eat at home.

Peter Okoye Trolls Mr. Ibu For Saying Coronavirus Is A Scam, Calls Him Ignorant

Mr. P of defunct P square music group has thrown shade at veteran actor Mr. Ibu and any Nigerian who does not believe Coronavirus is real.

In a message to advice his followers to live a cautious life, Peter Okoye said the virus may linger till next year.

He advised his followers to prepare their minds for the virus and also called all those who still think COVID-19 is unreal or just flu as ignorant.

Mr. P and his family recently claimed they had tested positive for the virus but later came to announce they had recovered.

He tweeted: “Ignorance is a desease. Far worst than the underlying virus (Covid19) California has gone Shut Down again and some states in the US are about to do the same. Some will still say Covid19 is a Scam. It’s ordinary malaria! Prepare ur mind, cos life might not be normal till nxt yr.”

Mr. Ibu Expresses Doubts About COVID-19 In Nigeria

Ace comic actor, John Okafor, popularly known on screens as Mr. Ibu says he does not believe in the existence of COVID-19 in Nigeria.

Mr. Ibu is reported to have shared this unpopular opinion in an interview with “The Nation.”

The actor surprisingly stated that he does not care even if the virus exist.

He is quoted to have said in pigin;

“Nigeria, we are not supposed to be involved in this COVID-19, I see no reason why we should be involved. Only Nigerians in diaspora will have to partake in this devilish program.

We at home are oblivious, we are not supposed to be involved in any ceremony in trying to pretend or in trying to avoid. My brother, COVID-19 or 20 is not here, I don’t care. Why would China give us sickness and America embellish the technicality and then sell it to the world and people now begin to die when they know it’s killing. Thank God we have hot weather, the thing sef dey fear us.

I no dey fear anything I dey wear cloth waka on my own. Nothing dey here, nobody don die for this whole area, if you go another area nobody don die, go to stadium nobody don die. Let’s be sorry for ourselves.

I’m telling everybody not just the government this, say only what you know do not exaggerate it. Na we dey take our mouth call sickness by im own, sickness dey pass on its own but na we dey call am for Nigeria. You won’t see COVID-19 because it’s not here.”

Despite the constant updates of the rising cases of the deadly virus by the NCDC, Mr. Ibu still defended his stance by saying that he’s yet to see any sick person with the virus or attend the burial of a corona related death.

“You know anybody?

Have you ever attended any burial and they say na this thing kill am? have you ever gone to the hospital them say this person na Covid dey hold am? have you ever seen a family them say somebody na Covid na em kill am yesterday for family wey you know? You cannot, dem say dem say na em me and you dey hear. Even the sickness dey fear us.

“Are they not human beings, let them bring a picture of at least one person killed by COVID-19 and we find the family of such a person.

COVID whatever is not in Nigeria, we have hot weather here, the disease is scared of us just as we are scared of it so it can’t come here.

It has affected so many industries in the country, it has driven us away from work because of the lies and gossip. Na small thing e remain hunger for don kill me since if no be say better people dey wey dey give us money.”
