A statement from The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service indicates that two suspected persons have been arrested in relation to the demolition of a building on the premises of the Nigeria High Commissioner in Accra.

A press release from the Criminal Investigative Department (CID) received by AfricaCelebrities.Com indicates that the two suspected persons were arrested on Monday, June 22, 2020.

“The Criminal Investigations Department in the course of investigation on Monday 22nd June 2020, arrested two persons involved in the demolition of a building on the premises of the Nigerian High Commission in Accra.”

Olatunji Abel, a newly appointed local government commissioner in the Kwara State of Nigeria has been reported dead few hours to assuming duties.

He was reported t have died in his sleep just 48 hours to his resumption at his new office.

Reports say the politician was found dead in his sleep after returning from a trip to Abia State. The cause of his death is said to be heart failure.

“He just came back from Abia and went to bed in the night only to meet his maker in his sleep,” sources revealed.

Olatunji Abel was suppose to resume office today Monday, April 27 after his appointment by the Executive Governor of Kwara State as a Member, Local Government Commission.

Friends and sympathizers have flooded social media with sad messages and condolence to his family.

“I don’t know what to say,I have repeatedly glanced our few days chats over n over. I feel like hearing this news debunked but God knows better. A complete God-fearing,gentle, amiable, dependable and down to earth brother. rest peacefully bros.” someone wrote.
