Majority leader of House of Reps, Hon.Alhassan Ado-Doguwa, has been trending on many social media platforms after he was captured with his 4 wives and 27 children.

The Nigerian lawmaker made headlines in January when he attended his swearig In with his entire family, four wives and 27 children.

“Mr. Speaker, I would like to let you know that with me today here, are my four respected wives,” he said, before requesting all four to stand up to the cheering of his colleagues.

“Mr Speaker, these four wives you have seen have produced 27 kids for me, and I am still counting. I am still counting.” he said at the time

He also told the press that his father, who died at 86, left behind 40 children including a 4-year-old and that he is merely following his dad’s legacy.

News breaking is that some yet-to-be identified gunmen have killed lawmaker representing Baraza Dass constituency in the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Mante Baraza.

The gunmen reportedly stormed the lawmaker’s house in Baraza Village on Thursday evening and shot him dead.

Hon. Abdul Ahmed Bura, a member of the house, confirmed the incident to DAILYPOST saying, “It is true. That is how we heard the sad news of his death.”

He also established that the criminals kidnapped the lawmaker’s wife and son and their location is still unknown.

The state police command has however assured that investigations are ongoing and has gave names of people suspected to be behind the attack.

The police gave the names of the kidnapped wives and daughter as Rashida Musa Mante (40); Rahina Musa Mante (35) and one-year-old Fausar Musa Mante.

They added that some empty shells of live ammunition were recovered from the crime scene.
