Award winning Nigerian singer Davido has been hailed as a hero after a video of him stopping a police officer from searching and harassing a young Nigerian man surfaced.

Twitter user @Uche_jr_01 shared the video and said had it not being the timely intervention of Davido, the young man would have been in trouble.

Rema’s dread was his trademark look and the ladies loved it but today, he got a clean trim and called out every SARS operative that tagged him as a criminal because he wore dreadlocks.

Son of Fela Kuti and Nigerian singer, Seun Kuti has also added his voice to the many cries against SARS operatives and police brutality in Nigeria.

Seun Kuti stated that Nigerian army and police were created to kill and oppress black people and protect western interest.

He also alleged that some rich Nigerians and celebrities campaigning against SARS have policemen on their payroll that they use to oppress citizens.

The singer sighted an example of how Niger-Delta activist Isaac Boro was killed by soldiers acting on orders of a foreign company.

Seun went live on Instagram tonarrate how his late father, Fela Kuti lost his properties and wife while fighting the ‘oppressor’. He then advice Nigerians not to sit back and watch security operatives abuse them.

Laycon, Winner of 2020 BBNaija, has taken the creative path to add his voice to the ongoing campaign against brutality and SARS in Nigeria.

He shared a video of his rap skills which talks about police brutality on his social media page and added that it hurt to see lives being lost at the hands of those employed to protect it.

Laycon condemned the the ill actions of bad cops who ruin the reputation of the entire police force and included that his late father was an upright police officer.

American legendary boxer, Floyd Mayweather has promised to pay all the funeral expenses associated with the burial of George Floyd.

George Floyd died in the Minneapolis police custody after he was arrested for attempting to purchase an item with a 20 dollar counterfeit bill.

Though he showed no sign of resistance, George Floyd was pinned down in handcuffs and an officer kneeled on his neck leading to his death.

The family plans to hold three services in different locations, including Houston, Texas Floyd’s hometown, Charlotte, North Carolina and Minneapolis, Minnesota where he passed on.

They have accepted the 43-year old boxer’s offer. Mayweather added that Anzel Jennings, CEO of his TMT music label, was a childhood friend of George Floyd in Houston.

George Floyd’s murder by a white police officer sparked an ongoing protests across major cities in the U.S. The protests have spilled over to outside with many holding placards in Britain, France, Denmark and Australia.
