The dreams of iconic former Chelsea player, Didier Drogba to be President of Ivory Coast Football Federation(FIF) has been crushed by the Electoral commission.

Drogba submitted his papers and CV alongside Yacine Idriss Diallo, Paul Koffi Kouadio and Diabate to stand in the polls earlier this month but the EC disqualified Drogba over an error on his CV.

According to the EC, the Ivorian football legend was rejected as two of the names he submitted as his sponsors were ruled not to have the necessary authority to be his sponsors.

FIF’s electoral commission also ruled that different officials from the same organization who signed Drogba’s electoral papers were not authorized to do so. The commission also said that Drogba only had the backing of two top-flight Ivorian clubs and not the three that FIF statutes demand.

The commission has however given Drogba and Paul Koffi Kouadio, who was also rejected, five days to appeal.

Ghana-based Colombian rapper, MC Dementor feels the time is now right for him to contest for the seat of Ghana’s Presidency. He made this revelation in a Facebook post on Tuesday.

According to him, there is a lot of hardship in Ghana and he’s ready to help to ameliorate the suffering of Ghanaians by becoming the country’s President.

In the video, sighted by AfricaCelebrities.com, MC Dementor said: “I’m very conscious of the direction the country is heading right now. And the suffering and hardships most young Ghanaians and our kids are facing right now.

“That’s why I want to contribute, and I want to put myself as an option of being the President of the Republic Ghana in the near future.

“Under my government, no Ghanaian will suffer. Under my government, the country will get the most biggest [sic] transformation in housing programs, in work, infrastructure that no Ghanaian President has done under the fourth republic.”

Since 2014, Akon and his enlightened team have been providing electricity by solar energy to many African countries, including Guinea, Senegal, Mali, Niger, Benin and Sierra Leone, so his leadership qualities are already intact. He has also provided aid to political powerhouses throughout the African continent.

In his own words, “I know what the issues are, and as a person, as an immigrant, as a black man, as whatever you want to call it. When speaking to the Shaderoom in another interview, this is what he had to say about rapper-turned-preacher Kanye West,  “Kanye is not crazy, he’s just be awakened. From a spiritual state, I just feel like he’s awake now. Now he’s the most amazing marketer in the world. He understands his audience, but he’s definitely not crazy, he knows what he’s doing. My thing is, if he does run, it’s great for the culture. Now if you think he’s not fit, that’s another thing, that’s why you got me as another choice.”

Tanzania’s President Magufuli is one man who knows how to market his presidency. Award winning artist Nandy has just released a new song dubbed Magufuli Tena. The song features the songstress praising the president and all his achievements.

The song has the same beats as Nandy’s major hit, Ninogeshe. In fact, it was Ninogeshe which put her on the international map and made people know of the name Nandy.

Ghana’s Ministry of Information has revealed how the country’s security agencies foiled attempts by some individuals to create instability in the country.

According to a press statement issued by the Ministry, on Friday, 20th September 2019, a joint security operation of personnel drawn from Defence Intelligence, CID and Bureau of National Investigations (BNI), conducted a successful operation which led to the arrest of three persons and the retrieval of several arms, explosive devices and ammunition from locations in Accra and Bawaleshie near Dodowa.

The joint operation was to neutralize an elaborate plot targeted at the Presidency, and with the ultimate aim of destabilizing the country. The arrest and seizure come after fifteen (15) months of surveillance and gathering of evidence on the activities of the prime suspects and others.

The persons arrested are Dr. Frederick Yao Mac-Palm and his two accomplices – Mr. Ezor Kafui (a local weapon manufacturer) and Mr. Bright Allan Debrah Ofosu (aka BB or ADC).
