Kannywood actress, Rahama Sadau has being pegged at the top spot of the most trending movie stars in Nigeria.

The actress sits comfortably at the number one spot after Google released the top ten most trending actors in Nigeria for 2020.

Rahama Sadau came under strict criticisms after she was attacked by the Muslim community of Nigeria for wearing a dress that showed her back.

She was reportedly invited by the Sharia court and could face execution for “bringing the name of the religion into disrepute”.

Other notable names in the list are, Big Brother Naija season five second runner-up, Rebecca Hampson Nengi, Erica Nlewedim, Funke Akindele, Desmond Elliot and Femi Otedola’s daughter, Temi Otedola.

Nigerian actress, Rahama Sadau has again gotten herself into the Islamic net of achaic laws after she celebrated her birthday.

The actress turned 27 years yesterday and as part of marking the day, she took to twitter to thank God for adding a year to her life.

This harmless celebration miraculously is among the things highly abhorred by Allah, according to the Muslim man. He therefore took to the comments section to advise her against doing that next time.

Hausa movie actress, Rahama Sadau has dismissed reports that she’s being arrested and sentenced by a Sharia court in northern Nigeria.

About a week ago, the actress came under attacks from sections of the Muslim community for wearing a dress that showed her back.

The dress was described as ‘Unislamic’ by the Muslims who were accusing her. She was subsequently invited by the Sharia court and she had to detour from Dubai back to Nigeria.

Earlier today, there were reports online that, the actress has been sentenced to death by a Sharia court.

The actress has taken to twitter to dismiss such reports. Below are her tweets.

”Salam,

I understand the love & concern pouring out from some concerned individuals & it’s much appreciated.

I have received many messages that I have been arrested and sentenced to jail earlier today. I have no idea where the news emanated from. I’m therefore calling on people to stop spreading FAKE and unfounded stories.

I haven’t received any police invitation or court trial. I’m reiterating this to well wishers that I’m SAFE and FINE and I have never received any legal trial for whatever reason. To those trying to bank on this issue to create an unrest, Please give it a rest

It’s indeed a hard time for me. This is not the right time for FAKE NEWS. Much love to those who reached out, I’m grateful. Love Rahama”

Hausa movie actress, Rahama Sadau has apologized to the Muslim community for sharing photos deemed unislamic by the Muslims in northern Nigeria.

The actress came under attacks after she shared photos of herself on Twitter where she wore a long dress which showed her back.

After she came under a barrage of attacks, she took the post off and followed that up with an apology to the Muslim community.

She revealed that, she’s a strong advocate for her religion and a supporter of the prophet of Islam. She added that, she will not intentionally do something that would bring the name of the prophet into disrepute.

“I made this video so sad and sad. I am also patient about what happened to all Hausa people, my colleagues and Muslims all over this picture of mine that brought this cure.

“This is not my attitude as a Muslim. I am the lover of the prophet (SAW), and I am fighting with anyone that touch my religion. It’s destiny that brought a person to disgrace him, and may God curse him on this disgrace.

“This will never happen to me again by the grace of God. Thank you, may God protect our faith and religion.”
