Nollywood actor and lawyer Kanayo O. Kanayo has been discharged from a hospital after he underwent a nasal surgery few days after becoming a legal practitioner.

kanayo O. Kanayo was recently called to the bar as a certified lawyer. In a recent social media post, the legal practitioner revealed that he is healing well.

He also thanked his family, friends and fans for their prayers. He wrote; ”I was discharged yesterday. I am recuperating well. Thanks to you all, family, fans , friends, well wishers for your prayers. I will be live with you next week Sunday between 6&6.30pm. Enjoy a great week ahead. Ya gazie”

Toyin Lawani, a Nigerian fashion icon and celebrity has shared the painful ordeal she went through in battling fibroid and her decision to remove her womb.

The socialite wrote a lengthy note to her fans on Instagram narrating how she discovered she has fibroid at 23 while she was carrying her first child.

She added that she bled 9 months continues while she was still pregnant and had to deal with excruciating pain.

Toyin Lawani said she had booked many appointments to remove her womb but felt cold feet at the eleventh hour.

She however disclosed that she has gathered courage to undergo the surgery and will share to her fans when it is done successfully.

Yesterday, Keroche Breweries heiress Anerlisa Muigai posted a video of herself flaunting a one year fat loss transformation. She appeared leaner than before however much of the fat lost was only around her waist.

Now, this takes us back to Anerlisa’s transformation from the beginning. A few years back, the CEO to Nero Company was obese. She went to the U.S and upon returning home, had lost a tonne of the weight. She literally looked like a new woman.

Following this drastic weight loss, Anerlisa launched a weight loss app to share her secrets and tips for weight loss. The app which costs a user $30 is equipped with different meal plans and work out routines that supposedly help one to lose 40kgs in 6 months.

The main question is, who does Anerlisa think she is fooling? Clearly not many Kenyans. From reactions on social media, majority of netizens are of the opinion that Anerlisa is plastic; another way of saying she uses surgery for fat removal then lies to Kenyans that the weight loss is organic/natural.

Anerlisa Muigai’s transformation

Anerlisa has continuously denied that she has had liposuction or gastric bypass surgery. However, personal trainers can tell you that spot fat loss is a myth when it comes to training.

If you gain weight through weight lifting, the weight gets distributed all round the body. The same applies for natural fat loss. If you lose weight, it happens somewhat evenly around the body.

Therefore, Anerlisa flaunting her slimmer waist only adds to the suspicions that she is indeed losing weight; just not entirely by eating healthy and exercising. The big question is, what’s your opinion?
