A policeman has been captured in a video slapping a woman who had joined a queue to register for the ongoing new voters’ register.

In the video that has since gone viral and attracted wide condemnation, the two were seen engaged in a heated argument over an unknown issue.

The policeman severally warned the woman to keep quiet else she would be dealt with. True to his words, the officer slapped the woman.

Many in the queue rushed to restrain the woman who felt angered and wanted to retaliate the officer’s unguarded assault.

She was later seen raining insults and curses on the police officer who looked unperturbed after committing that dastard act.

The name of the police officer is currently unknown as efforts are made to trace him and that particular registration centre the unfortunate incident happened.
