Wiyaala The Young Lioness of Africa Performs In France
Wiyaala the Young Lioness of Africa, an international singer and songwriter has been spotted performing in France for a three-day Music Festival.
The annual music festival called the “Festival Belle Ile On air” is held in France. The festival also hosted a range of performers from all over the world among which our very own indefatigable Wiyaala was part.

“Wiyaala, which means “the doer” in her local Sissala dialect, is from Funsi, an African village in the Upper West Region of Ghana close to the borders of Burkina Faso and Cote D’Ivoire.

Her music is a potent fusion of West African folk songs and stadium Afro-pop informed by her personal interpretation of traditional West African mythology and storytelling brought to life with spectacularly energetic traditional dance moves.
