Mom Uses Genius Strategy To Get Her Kids To Learn About Diligence And The Value Of Money.

The Georgia mom shared her creative strategy on Facebook which has so far received praises from most Facebookers. The post has since received about 14,000 shares.

Shaketha Marion McGregor stated that her aim was to teach her kids about responsibilities, diligence and how to value hard-earned money.

Having faced some troubling times a year ago, the mom has been struggling to replace certain things at home but her kids were still demanding money for cell phones and allowances so figured she had to make them ear it.

“We lost a lot of things last year in a house fire and so I’ve been really working hard to recover the things that we need,” McGregor stated.

 “And my children continued to ask for things that they want so I figured it’ll be best to have them earn it.”

She organized a hiring event and asked her kids to apply for various house chore positions.

The applicants were her three kids: Jahkeem, 13; Takeia, 10; and Serinity, 6 and the positions they were required to apply for included, laundry supervisor, lead housekeeper and kitchen manager for her company.

This mom is one genius, and parents can use this approach to teach their children to appreciate money.
