I Won’t Perform At Luo Festival Without A Limousine and Helicopter – Akothee Tells Jalang’o

If you thought you’ve had enough of Kenyan singer and Self-declared President of single mothers Akothee, well here’s more to add to that overflowing cup of Akothee drama. According to popular radio presenter and hype MC Jalang’o, it took miracles and more to finally book the musician to perform at this year’s highly anticipated Luo Festival.

“I could not confirm Akothee for Luo Festival because of a lot of things but that was until yesterday when we met and she agreed that she will be performing! To have Akothee for your show is not easy and even her coming for Luo festival is almost impossible!” said Jalang’o in a public post on social media.

Get this, not only did the artist demand a huge performance fee, but she also made some crazy demands before finally agreeing to perform at the event happening on Saturday August 31st at the Carnivore grounds. A viral post on Jalang’o’s Instagram outlined the 5 requirements that events organizers have to fulfill to have Akothee perform. They include among other demands a Limousine, four personal private assistants and a helicopter to take her to Carnivore from Wilson Airport! I don’t know about you but I recognize power when I see it. Akothee clearly doesn’t call herself ‘Madam Boss’ for nothing. She talks the talk and walks the walk.
