“Most Women Only Divorce Poor Men, Learn To Stay With Your Cheating Husbands”: Maame Gold Counsels

Multiple Award winning broadcaster, TV and Radio Presenter, Rev. Mrs. J. A. Afriyie Asiedu popularly known as Maame Gold has implored married women to stay in their marriages no matter how many times their husbands cheat.

Maame Gold who recently got ordained as a Reverend Minister of her church has since been giving “wise counsel” to married women.

She posted a series of videos on her Instagram page advising married women to put in all efforts to make their marriages last even if their husbands cheat on them.

“How many of you will leave your boyfriends for cheating? “she probed. In the video she purported that young women who assume they are smart continue to be with boyfriends who cheat on them but are quick to admonish married women to leave their cheating husbands.

Rev. Gold also alleged that most women in Ghana only leave or divorce poor men. Hence she advised women to work hard in salvaging their relationships with their husbands, especially husbands who are financially sound and responsible.
