Shocking Video: Green Calabash Youtubers Shiko and Rama Document Homebirth Of Their 3rd Born

Popular Youtubers of The Green Calabash Channel Shiko and Rama shocked Kenyans when they documented and uploaded their home birth video for the world to see on YouTube. The widely loved couple and young parents welcomed their third child Tawi through a home birth. In particular, they went through an unassisted water birth in their home.

The entire ordeal is highly unpopular especially among the traditional and even modern women in the country. I guess the years spent by Shiko abroad affected her in more ways than just giving her an accent. The video which was posted a day ago is already trending due to its candid nature and exploratory foreign theme. Home births in bathtubs are not common among popular mothers in Kenya. In the video, Shiko’s hunk of a husband Rama was super helpful throughout the entire process. He gave her words of encouragement, massaging her and holding her hand to try and make the whole experience more tolerable. From the video, the two were waiting for their midwife to arrive when Shiko’s contractions increased and the baby arrived. The two managed fantastically without a mid wife and Rama even cut the newborn child’s cord soon after the birth. The whole process shocked many at how it went on seamlessly and rather peacefully. Reactions to the video are mostly positive.
