In a case followed by many closely, the students complaining proved to the court that they satisfactorily fulfilled all the requirements set by Moi University on time but when the graduation list came out, their names had not been included among those set to graduate in the August 22nd ceremony. Approximately 700 students missed their names on the graduation list of Moi University due to hefty fee balances and missing marks. The students who took the university to court however were suppose to graduate in December 2018 but the date kept being delayed due to recurring lecturers strike.
