Girl Takes Off Slippers To Withdraw Money From ATM

Growing up in an African home can be very hectic as parents are strict to a fault. Mostly a child’s success rate in life is based on how well he or she performs household chores: for example if a girl child doesn’t know how to carry water on her head or cook, this can be interpreted as she won’t gain a good marriage or succeed in life as a woman.

As the elders say, too much of everything is bad, and as the water is overheated you need to balance it with cold water.

A picture has emerged online of a young Nigerian girl who removed her slippers to withdraw money from an ATM. I’m not certain whether she is paying respect to the money-rendering machine or she’s from a home where slippers are taken off before entering a room.

Resources also claim she’s from Lanlate, Oyo State in Nigeria. Hilarious or not, her upbringing must be extreme.
