Thousands of people are fleeing the two Anglophone regions of Cameroon in anticipation of the three week curfew announced in the area.

Sisiku Ayuk Tabe and nine other members of a group who declared the secession of Ambazonia (Anglophone Cameroon), were last week jailed for life by a military court.

The group has been in an armed struggle for secession of their area from Cameroon. They accused the French speaking majority of discrimination.
