HIV Positive Rapist Released After Paying Money To Victim’s Family

A twitter user by name Mabel Blossom has brought to awareness the case of a 14-year-old girl who was raped by a 75-year-old man.

She alleges that the rapist who goes by the name Chief Shedrack Ejinwa, raped the young girl in Ward 3 of Kendox Medical Services in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. After the victim was raped, a file was opened for her at the same hospital and she was placed on medication. She was then warned by the wife of the Medical Director at Kendox Medical Services never to disclose what had transpired.

Fortunately one Harrison Gwamnishu, a Human Rights Activist, heard about the case and carried out thorough investigations, which he later referred to the Divisional Police Station in Elelewon.

The suspect was thereby arrested along with the wife of the Medical Director at the clinic, and the case was transferred to SCID.

But information reaching is that the 75-year-old rapist teamed up with the lawyer who was supposed to defend the victim, and sweet talked the girl’s father into accepting money worth N370,000 and forget about the case. They settled on an agreement signed by the victim’s father, suspect, 14-year-old girl, and other witnesses.
