Alleged Kidnappers Of Fetish Priest Arrested By Police At Wenchi
The Wenchi Divisional Police have arrested some suspects who kidnapped a 27-year-old festish priest, and planned to kill him. ACP Wemegah lauded his officers for successfully arresting the kidnappers at Akrobi checkpoint.

Speaking to JoyNews TV, the 27-year-old fetish priest from Wenchi recounted how some men kidnapped him from his village, dragged him into a car, and beat him black and blue.
The fetish priest who goes by the name Nana Yaw Acheampong, disclosed how they planned on killing him and dumping him into a forest, but one of the suspects argued that they wait till they get to Accra before they execute their plans. But luck was not on their side as they were caught at a police checkpoint.
The fetish priest has been granted bail and advised to seek medical attention.
