Video Shoot Gone Wrong: Rappers from P Unit Cause Drama Following Arrest of Their Dancers During Shoot
Genge rappers from P Unit nearly had a serious fight with authorities. This was after their dancers were arrested during their video shoot. From information gathered, the rappers were shooting a music video a few weeks ago featuring songstress Yvonne Darcq. During the shoot, authorities detained their dancers because they were minors.
One of the rappers, Frasha claimed that he had been given permission by the dancers’ parents. Apparently, the dancers who were on school leave were detained for over 12 hours. “These were young boys with dreams and we gave them a platform for them to be seen by the world. Little did we know how the day would end,” narrated Frasha.
The rapper went ahead to share a clip of the confrontation with authorities over the matter. In the clip, Frasha demands for the boys to be released. After the police sorted out the issue by talking to the dancers’ parents, they were released. This however was several hours after the boys’ arrest.
“This is the kind of harassment artists go through every day. As we try to make an honest living and create opportunities for the next generation, police still arrest us. Kids can be actors, dancers, artists or anything they want, don’t kill their dreams with such stunts,” Frasha said.
