25 Nigerian Prostitutes Arrested In The Bono East Region
The Bono East Regional Immigration Command has arrested 25 Nigerian women suspected to be sex workers.

The Regional Commander, Superintendent E. A. Annor admitted to Joy News that the operation which led to the arrest of the foreigners was carried out in Nkoranza in the early hours of Saturday and Sunday.

Mr. Annor stated that this development is part of their activities to get rid of foreigners living in the region without documented papers and passports. He stated that 80 percent of the culprits are without legal papers, and those who had, had overstayed their permits.

The Superintendent further stated that these foreigners are drifting into the region because it is without proper immigration measures, thus the Immigration Service has stepped in.
