I Quit My Job for YouTube and it Paid Off – Yummy Mummy Lands Ebru Talk Show ‘Let’s Talk’
Public figure Yummy Mummy has proven to Kenyans that one can make a career off Content Creating. The soon to be mother of three quit her job to start a career as a content creator on YouTube. In a year’s time, her YouTube channel has grown from hundreds to 37,000 subscribers.
Yummy mummy who officially goes by Joan Obwaka creates content about motherhood, marriage, lifestyle and everything in between. She is known for having a big heart, big personality and big hips. She is also humorous, without forcing jokes like some stand up comedians on Churchill Show.
So far, Joan’s career has involved peaks that involve endorsement deals with big companies such as Weetabix, Showmax and currently, Nivea. She is actually one of the Face of Nivea Brand Ambassadors in Kenya. You have probably seen her on a billboard along Ngong road if you drive around those sides.
Recently, Yummy mummy shared with her fans that she’d be starring in a show on Ebru TV dubbed ‘Let’s Talk’. She took to Instagram to let Kenya know about this new gig. You can now catch more of yummy mummy together with 3 other powerful women on Ebru TV on Wednesday Thursday and Friday from 6-7pm.
