Man Sues Wife For Taking Pictures Of Him Without His Permission

A Nigerian man is suing his wife for taking pictures of him without his permission.

The 33-year old woman is facing charges for “breach of peace and disorderliness” and has been granted a N100000 bail with two sureties in like sum.

The wife, whose name was given as Adeola, had taken her husband to court over an unrelated matter in May. During the court proceeding, she instructed someone to take a photo of him on the court premises.

According to Prosecutor, Donjour Perezi, this is a violation of Sections 168 (1) (d) and 412 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State, 2015 (Revised).

Chief Magistrate Ejiro Kubeinje has adjourned the case to October 2.
