Have You Tasted and Avolatte? It’s International Coffee Day and Here are Some Weird Coffee Drinks (Photos)

Coffee has clearly made an impact in the world. I mean, an entire day has been dedicated to celebrating coffee in the world.

If you haven’t been told this yet, happy international coffee day. Here are pictures of some interesting coffee drinks that will shock you as they have me.

First up is an Avolatte. It is a Melbourne drink from Truman Cafe in Albert Park. Basically, the drink is a latte served in an avocado shell. Those must be some strong avocado shells.

Another weird coffee drink is dubbed the Purple Sweet Potato Peanut Butter Latte. What a long name for a complicated looking drink. Would you try it out?

Next up is the Blue Algae Smurf Latte. This drink is from a place called Matcha Mylkbar and according to customers, it’s amazing.

Last but not least is pretty much coffee on a cone. It’s called an affogato in a waffle cone and it looks like a high end ice cream cone – for lovers of caffeine.
