Meet The Nigerian Born Rapper Who Is Dating Adele

Joseph Junior Adenuga Jr. better known by his stage name Skepta is a British MC, rapper who on 4 April 2018, was installed as a chief in his Nigerian hometown in Ogun State.

The rapper aged 37, has made a career as a record producer and music video director. Born in North London to two immigrant parents from Nigeria, Joseph Junior Adenuga grew up in Tottenham. Skepta dropped his first solo mixtape, Joseph Junior Adenuga, in 2006 and his debut album, Greatest Hits, in 2007. Since then, he’s put out a handful of mixtapes as well as studio albums. His most recent is 2016’s Konnichiwa, but he has released a handful of singles since then.

His hit single Shutdown, which featured on his Konnichiwa album, is now BRIT Award certified platinum thanks to its global success. The star also picked up a Mercury Prize and a BET Award for Best International Act UK in 2016 following that album’s release.

The singer is one who keeps his dating life private from his music career. It was rumored that he once dated supermodel Naomi Campbell but he never came out to either confirm or deny it. Skepta in Jan 2019 announced he’s now a father to a little girl but the mother of the girl is also not known since he’s tight-lipped about that too.

Skepta’s net worth as of 2018 is disclosed to be at 2 million dollars. He is signed to four record labels which are believed to have made him the money and they include 3 Beats record, Universal Islands Records, All Around The World Production and Boy Better Know Entertainment.

It is rumored that the musician is currently dating English singer Adele. The two hail from the same hometown — Tottenham in North London — and started as friends, which has supposedly blossomed into something more in the wake of Adele’s split from her estranged husband Simon Konecki. The two are said to be spending a lot of time together.
