Chris Attoh Finally Breaks His Silence After Wife’s Murder

Ghanaian actor, Chris Attoh has returned to social media five months after Bettie Jennifer, his American wife was shot dead.

Chris Attoh’s wife died on Friday, May 10, 2019, after being shot in the head by a gunman outside her workplace in Greenbelt, Maryland.

Following the news of Bettie’s death, a devastated Chris Attoh shut down his social media pages and went off.

Five months after the incident, the Ghanaian actor has bounced back making his first post on social media.

Posting a photo on social media, Chris Attoh went biblical as he talked about his ordeal and how he has found comfort in God.

Quoting the book of Acts 16: 23 -30, which talks about Paul and Silas’ imprisonment and subsequent release, Chris Attoh wrote expressed trust in God.

His first post expressed emotions and reveals how he’s coming out of a sad situation. He wrote:

“We learn a lot from our places of discomfort, the only way for a baby to come out of the womb is through it. I guess in life, you cannot protect yourself from sadness, without protecting yourself from happiness. It’s easier to stay open and trust God”.

Before his marriage with Bettie Jennifer, Chris Attoh was married to Nigerian actress, Damilola Adegbite. Their marriage produced a son.
