Rufftown Records signee Francine Nyanko Koffi aka Fantana earlier today spoke to a group of young girls about menstrual shaming.

This comes on the back of her being a victim of online trolling after she went and exposed her pad while performing on stage at Shatta Wale’s Wonder Boy album launch. The singer’s camp later released a press statement explaining that Fantana’s period showed up a few minutes before her performance and it was too late for a change of costume.

To her credit, she took the opportunity to educate people on the stigma surrounding menstruation. This, in turn, earned her an invitation by the Rotary Club to speak to young girls about issues concerning menstruation at the PAD A GIRL PROJECT Sanitary Pad Donation.

The Girls Hate On Girls singer posted a video of her speaking to the young girls at Kasoa while they stared blankly at her. Watch the video below:
