Kenyan musician Akothee was one of the big winners at the recent Afrika Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) held in Texas, USA last Saturday.

The singer beat Vanessa Mdee, Victoria Kimani and others to emerge Best Female Musician in East Africa. Unfortunately for her, attention has been diverted from her accomplishment to focus on her look for the night. She is instead being trolled for looking like a man in her badly applied makeup.
